Commercial Finance Analyst


A business centred around improving education outcomes and accessibility worldwide is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their business.

They are passionate about the impact education can have on transforming the lives of others and are lookingfor like-minded individuals to join their Finance Team.


Location:
Reading (Hybrid)


Salary:
c. £38,000


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult & review contract budgeting/forecasting projections with budget holders
  • Support the delivery of financial goals
  • Support on the provision of financial commercial support to UK based budget holders in the delivery of their inyear and longterm financial objectives
  • Assist with internal and external reporting when required
  • Ensure activities meet or improve on KPI's in line with business objectives
  • Produce the summary monthly reporting pack
  • Review and prepare monthly Management Accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness and consistency with policies and procedures
  • Liaise with the Financial Accounting team to ensure the correct balance sheet position is shown in the accounts

Key Requirements:

  • AAT Qualified, or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
  • Understanding of accounting concepts, especially around contract income recognition
  • Knowledge & experience of a financial role where client relationships are central
  • Strong foundation of preparing budgets and management accounts for business units
  • MS Office
