Description

The role will be designated to deliver work by the appropriate Discipline design lead.

The main responsibilities of this role will generally include the following:

To provide engineering design activities utilising AutoCAD 3D and 2D for 3D modelling and resulting 2D design deliverables respectively.
To utilise scan data to develop and check designs relative to the above.
To survey equipment and fabrications at site (onshore and offshore).
To develop knowledge specific to the role and relevant discipline.
To provide engineering solutions that demonstrate added value to both Archer Operations and Client.
To identify deviations to standards where necessary, ensuring acceptance of Client Technical Authorities.
To maximise opportunities within design, to improve rig operability and maintainability.
To provide technical interface with all other discipline engineers and Subcontractor and Specialist Engineering Vendors.
