Our client is looking for an experienced
Assistant Store Manager to join their busy clothing retail outlet in
Stoke Gifford paying up to
£23,000

As Assistant Store manager you will be responsible for one of the companies busiest, signature stores so will have a team to support you during off and on peak times.

What's the job?

You will need to drive sales and initiatives through your team.
Don't be afraid to suggest ways to improve daily experiences in store.
Stay on top of core operational aspects of the role including stock management and team development.
Have a strong grasp of Microsoft programs in order to provide insightful data back to HQ.
Ensure the store is always visually appealing and be highly organised in order to maintain all aspects of the store with a cando attitude.
You will have excellent IT skills and be able to grasp in house systems quickly and effectively

During peak you will be required to Help recruit and manage additional colleagues and lead them to deliver exceptional service.

Recognise and encourage strong performance whilst appropriately managing performance to keep the team on track.
Delegate well to encourage growth in your team.
Offpeak tasks will include reorganising merchandise and stockrooms after peak trade. In addition to this you will use this time to reflect on learnings and build in any training yourself and the team will benefit from.
