Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Leicestershire County Council as a Public Health Consultant.

Public Health is one of six departments within the County Council, exercising the full range of public health duties, including the delivery and commissioning of services.

The Director of Public Health is a chief officer of the council, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. This position reports to the Director of Public Health.

The post holder will be responsible for improving the health of those living within Leicestershire, with specific responsibility for Health Protection and supporting the core offer to the ICB.
