Description
A leading provider of tools for the engineering of micro
- and nano-structures for process engineering R&D and semiconductors is now looking for 3 new Test Engineers to join the Test Engineering Team.


Now is a fantastic time to join the Test Team in delivering fully tested high-tech, cutting edge products, developing new capabilities and working on some complex system configurations.

To succeed as Test Engineer you will need a strong engineering background and a high level of technical skill.

Supporting the Test Team Leader you will deliver fully functional tested products, strictly following the test procedures.


You will take ownership for the product allocated to you and proactively seek resolution of any issues, ensuring test procedures are strictly and efficiently adhered to and that all documentation is fully completed, accurately supports test results, andsigned off.


Through Continuous Improvement principles you will support test time reduction and drive improved product quality through data capture (FRACAS), ensuring faults are accurately reported and provide adequate detail to support analysis and effective correctiveaction.


Qualifications:


As the successful Test Engineers, you should be a Time Served Electrical Apprentice or hold a City and Guilds part 3, or HND / HNC / BTech Level 3 (Electrical) qualification.


Experience:


With a background in Test you should be able to strictly follow test procedures and accurately report test results against established standards; and be capable of accurate and speedy diagnosis of faults to component level.


You should be willing to travel occasionally, when you required to visit customers sites to support install /commissioning of systems.


Additional Information:

The positions require you to work on a rotating shift pattern. Each working week consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours and one of 5 hours. Currently the shifts are Early (starting at 06:00hrs) and Afternoon (starting at 14:00hrs).
