An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Support Coordinator to join our Money Matters Team. Our Money Matters Team offer a free service to help our customers make the most of their money.

In this rewarding role, you will offer ongoing support to customers to claim benefits they are entitled to, such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and Pension Credit.

You will also work with customers who are in debt, need help with budgeting, or suffering financial hardship.

Experience of:

Working knowledge of the Welfare Benefits system
Experience of working with households or individuals who are vulnerable and have multiple issues and/or complex needs

Knowledge of:

Current issues surrounding social housing and how these affect our customers
Able to communicate complex information effectively
The components of Money Advice (e.g. Debt, Welfare Benefits, Budgeting etc)
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with customers and partner agencies
