Description

This role will support both the Head of Communications & External Relations and work closely with the Head of Member Communications & Engagement and the Chesterfield HR team with a particular focus on supporting internal communications.

There will also bean opportunity to support the wider external communications activities.


Main tasks & responsibilities:


Internal comms:


  • Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate the content and production of the monthly member services newsletter.
  • Liaise with the wider HR and comms team and external creative agency to ensure regular and timely updates to the 'company' section of People Hub (the RISE site) for both Chesterfield and London.
  • Work with HR and comms on the coordination of the annual RISE colleague recognition awards for London and Chesterfield.
  • Liaise with Chesterfield 'SOFT' social committee to support internal comms as required.
  • Owning the daytoday running of Saturn Screens in Chesterfield including curating Member Feedback where a colleague is mentioned.

Member comms:


  • Draft change requests for website and portal updates.
  • Managing and collating member feedback.
  • Facilitating the 'close the loop' process where a member offers feedback on the website or portal, they have the option to provide contact details and we will reach out to them.

External comms:


  • Support with updating of the new standalone website (due to launch March 2023)
  • Managing social media accounts (currently just LinkedIn) but also Twitter in future.
  • Coordinating & supporting with s (both internal and external) where appropriate
  • Support with the roll roll out communications projects
  • Liaison with creative and digital agencies
  • Providing administrative support to the communications team

ESSENTIAL Experience/Skills:


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation
  • Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing

DESIRABLE Experience/Skills:


  • Knowledge of WordPress (desirable
