ABC Teachers are looking for supply teaching assistants. We work with several schools for students with special education needs in Birmingham. Therefore, we are seeking caring, encouraging and non-judgemental individuals.

This is an ADHOC role so you willbe required to work in various SEN schools across the area on a day-to-day basis.

About the role

Supporting the class teacher with the general classroom and work on a 1:1 basis with students
Work with children with a variety of additional needs such as Autism, Speech and Communication needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs
Choose which days you work fulltime, parttime and flexible roles are available
Working 8:30am to 3:30pm

Requirements To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

Make a positive contribution to each class you work in
Have substantial communication skills and the ability to build a strong rapport with the students and understand their needs
Must have experience working with children with special education needs that we can obtain a reference for
Must have the Right to work in the UK

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Experience working with children or young people with special education needs and disabilities
