  • Previous experience working in hospitality essential, fine dining is desirable

  • Willingness to gain an understanding of the food served, including provenance of ingredients and cooking techniques

About The Role
Thirteen is an up and coming fine dining restaurant on Ashley Road, Parkstone which serves contemporary British cuisine. We are looking for an Experienced Front of House team member to be part of the success.


This is a hands-on role, and tasks will include ensuring the restaurant and bar area is organised for service, welcoming and caring for guests, cocktail preparation, barista duties, serving food, general cleaning tasks and maintaining overall customer satisfaction.


  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Take and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

For the right person full and part-time positions are available for negotiation.

Where is Thirteen & What's It All About?

  • It is located on Ashley Road, Parkstone, part way between Bournemouth and Poole
  • It is on the M1/M2 bus route, and there is free onstreet parking on the surrounding streets
  • Thirteen is open for dinner Wednesday
  • Saturday, and for lunch Thursday to Saturday
  • Thirteen also serves Sunday lunch on selected dates
  • The restaurant is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday lunch.
  • It is a small, reservationonly restaurant, which seats 22 covers
