Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential?

Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a team at a Primary School in Watford.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teachers and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

How would you handle a situation where a student is struggling with a particular concept and needs extra help?

Your responsibilities will include:

Support in all areas of the primary curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a

- positive learning environment.

Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, preparing and present
Support in lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all children
Working with small groups and 1:
Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline

Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
2 recent professional references
Experience with behaviours that are challenging
A calm & caring personality
A strong and resilient personality and commitment to pupil's development
Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
Team Teach trained or willing to attend training
