Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential?


Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a team at a Primary School in Watford.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teachers and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

How would you handle a situation where a student is struggling with a particular concept and needs extra help?

Do you have a passion for improving the lives of children?

Do you have eligibility to work in the UK? (This is essential)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support in all areas of the primary curriculum
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a
- positive learning environment.

  • Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, preparing and present
  • Support in lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all children
  • Working with small groups and 1:
  • Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:

  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Experience with behaviours that are challenging
  • A calm & caring personality
  • A strong and resilient personality and commitment to pupil's development
  • Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
  • Team Teach trained or willing to attend training
