A term time only Payroll Officer role within Education, based in Bolton;

  • Offering a starting salary of £29,000 (full time equivalent).

The key responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Being the first point of call for Payroll Processing for the trust/schools;
  • To record and ensure that the HR and Payroll processes are followed;
  • To ensure efficient and effective running of the payroll across all areas.

The Successful Applicant:


  • High levels of motivation;
  • Experience in Payroll, ideally in an Education setting;
  • A strong awareness of operational payroll processing;
  • High level of accuracy;
  • Part Qualified CIPP professional.

What's on Offer:


  • A permanent, term time only role + 2 weeks (40 working weeks);
  • Onsite role working in a supportive HR and Payroll function;
  • A starting full time equivalent salary of £29,000 per annum.
