Lecturer - Computing (Programming)


Salary:
£37,647 - £36,042 per annum

Hours Per Week: 35


We are actively searching for a Lecturer - Computing (Programming) to join our Computing team at our Twelve Quays Campus for 35 hours per week.

About the Job

  • To assist in the development, organisation and management of highquality teaching and learning in the curriculum area of Digital and Computing for students on a range of programmes to include HE programmes, adult 19+ provision, apprentices and students on various 16 to 18 programmes. The successful applicant will join a highly successful teamteaching Computing courses from Level 1 to Level
  • To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and student assessment.
  • To prepare learning materials, students' assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of selfdirected study. To mark students' work, student portfolios, examinations and participate in the internal moderation of coursework.

About You

  • Level 2 or above literacy/English and maths/numeracy qualifications.
  • Teaching qualification or successful teaching experience. If applicant does not possess a teaching qualification they must undertake to successfully complete within an agreed timeframe.
