Claims Handler - Professional & Financial Risks

We are currently recruiting for a Professional Indemnity and Financial Risks Claims Handler to join our established and experienced ProFin team here at RSA on a hybrid working basis.

You will start your training 5 days a week in our Horsham office and then proceed to a hybrid working basis once training is fully complete.

Your Role

The purpose of this role is to handle and negotiate settlement of professional indemnity and financial risks claims including, where appropriate, those of a large and highly detailed nature.

The role involves working closely with external providers, customers and their representatives.

You will have a considerable technical knowledge base and work closely with traders and portfolio underwriters, working as part of a team in order to contribute to the achievement of Department goals feeding into the UK Claims Vision.

You will be handling an allocation of professional indemnity and/or financial risks claims in line with agreed performance targets, service standards and wider business change goals.

Supporting ProFin and, where appropriate Claims Account Manager to assist in winning and retaining business and identifying opportunities to highlight ProFin Claims as a differentiator for RSA.

About You
Ideally you will have a Commercial claims handling experience background, preferably involving large and complex third party liability claims.

You may also be a graduate with the ability to assess and understand high volumes of information and cut through the detail with an ability to undertake own research, to be able to think laterally and translate this to pragmatic claim outcomes.
