Job Profile Summary:
Support the business through production of high quality investment content supporting the group's investment platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of Man's core investment engines (AHL, FRM, GLG, Numeric and GPM)
- Collaborate with investment and sales colleagues to generate compelling and high quality content
- Generate content ideas for compelling social media and writing for social media
- Partner with marketing colleagues on content projects aligned to campaigns and focus initiatives
- Build solid internal relationships and partnerships with Man global staff including portfolio managers, sales staff, marketing professionals, compliance and legal professionals and operations
- Understand where to source information within Man and perform quantitative analyses where required to produce materials
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience of writing high quality content for media
- Research experience preferential
- Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
- Ability to understand investment strategies and translate those to compelling marketing materials
- Ability to work with a variety of people in the organisation to coordinate projects and reach agreement on issues
- Ability to represent Man to external parties including clients
- Effective organisation and project management skills
- Ability to work to short deadlines and to manage various projects concurrently
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel and ability to learn other proprietary or external software utilised by Man
