Description
Experienced Carpet and Flooring Estimator required for our busy flooring shop based in North London.

This is an exciting time to be part of our ever-growing company who have expanded rapidly over the past few years.


Our Estimators will be travelling to customer's homes, shops and offices to measure their premises, giving advice on the type of flooring best suited for their surroundings.

You will be inspecting and advising on sub floor preparation, and preparing well written reports with photographs and videos for sales people in the office to provide the estimates.

A mobile phone and tablet will be provided.

For this position you will be covering the Greater London area and further afield at times.


Location:
Head Office in Tottenham, North London

Pay:
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata for part-time hours)


Benefits:
Vehicle for work purposes, pension and holiday pay.

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. A part time basis will be considered too.


Status:
Employed PAYE


The Carpet & Flooring Estimator position involves:

  • Assisting customers with all their flooring requirements in finding the flooring that's right for them
  • Arranging home visits and site surveys for planning and estimating for customer specific quotations
  • Provide customers with accurate information on industry products and services on the market
  • Measuring, preparing plans and estimating prices
  • Planning installations with cutting plans, working out materials required ready for invoicing, ordering, and installing flooring
  • Advising Fitters on technical problem solving

Requirements for the position:


  • Floor fitting and/or flooring sales experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of latest industry products and services on the market
  • A good grasp of arithmetic and the understanding of measuring
  • Enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
  • Good communicator with customers and colleagues
  • A pleasant and friendly manner
  • Licence: driving licence (required) & bike licence (preferred)

Salary:
£30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
