Social, Emotional, Mental Health Teaching Assistant

Location:
Northolt, Ealing

Salary:
£82 - £105 per day

Schedule:
Full-Time; Mon - Fri
; 8:30 - 16:00

A fantastic alternative provision school based in Northolt is seeking an experienced teaching assistant to provide support to their students with social, emotional and mental health issues.

The school:

The school caters to children from KS1 to KS5, with
SEMH, learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties.

These students have arrived at the school having had a challenging experience at mainstream schools and therefore may display some challenging behaviours.

The school is split between two sites and provides individual learning experiences for students which cultivates a purposeful workplace and opens opportunities for all students to engage with learning.

Have experience or passion for working with children with SEN (particularly SEMH, Autism or challenging behaviour)
Be flexible, proactive, and patient
Be able to communicate effectively within a team
Have a Background in Education, Care, Psychology or Drama, as these are very transferable.
