Junior Finance Assistant

Stradishall

£20,000-£25,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading organisation based in Stradishall (between Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill), for an enthusiastic and career motivated individual to join the growing finance team in the role of Junior Finance Assistant.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will see the post holder taking responsibility for a variety of duties, and with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.

Duties to include:

Processing supplier invoices, seeking approvals where required.
Prepare weekly payment runs.
Carry out supplier statement reconciliations.
Processing company credit cards and staff expenses.
Work with colleagues and customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
Assist with Payroll preparation.

This client is looking for somebody who is keen to learn and to develop their career.

You will ideally have some office experience and be looking for a first accounts positions, however recent graduates and school leavers will also be considered.

You will join a friendly team, working directly under the Management Accountant - an excellent opportunity to learn.

You will be given the opportunity to study for AAT should you wish to, and will receive a generous salary and benefits package.
