Astrum Search is working with a fast-paced, technology focussed, financial services to recruit an Internal Audit Manager.Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you'll join a recently formed in-house team, responsible for assisting them with leading anddelivering the annual audit plan.

They are highly profitable, and have grown their profits organically since listing on the London Stock Exchange. The office is Central Londonbased and you'll be office based 3-4 days per week. The office is very high-tech and also has a free gym on-site.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, perform, and manage internal audit fieldwork
- Prepare and review draft internal audit reports for submission to the Board and Audit & Risk committee
- Lead opening and closing meetings with stakeholders and auditees
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and second line functions
- Ensure remediation actions communicated clearly and effectively, ensuring they are followed up regularly
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit with the annual audit planning process and other adhoc assignments
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the regulatory landscape, keeping abreast with any changes.
Skills & Experience:
- Prior internal or external audit experience with a full qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA etc)
- Exposure to the financial services sector preferable, although those from a nonFS background will also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and project management skills and able to show initiative
- Ability to operate in a technology driven and fastpaced environment.
