Finance Trainee (recent graduate, or 1st or 2nd finance role)

Based in Windsor or London Offices (near Oxford Circus) - you can choose

3 days in the office, 2 at home, with occasional travel (paid for) to the other office

£25,000 - £30, % bonus + 25 days holiday + study support + pension + health-care


I'm delighted to be supporting our International Financial Services client, who seek to appoint a recent Graduate, or early stage studier into this newly created Graduate Finance position.

Previous placements into this level have bee rewarded with superbtraining and have advanced quickly into more senior roles, so this is a great time to be joining this Global business.


Ideally you will have gained some recent finance experience, and ideally are able to offer a strong academic background within a Maths or Accountancy Degree.


Reporting into one of the Qualified Accountants, based in either Windsor, or London, your duties will be varied, challenging and very fast paced, within the cash accounting, sales ledger activities, as well as focusing on internal reporting and overall supportto the finance team.


  • Preparation off all revenue fee calculations and invoices for the Group
  • Responsible for tracking all new clients/ amendments and updating these changes to the system
  • Responsible for dispatching all client invoices
  • Preparation of monthly revenue accruals
  • Credit control function including review of debtor balances and notifying of any over payments or late payments
  • Processing group fee receipts
  • Weekly Group bank Reconciliation
  • Preparation of foreign cash flows/ sales and group hedging activities
  • Preparation of weekly cash position information
  • Preparation of the monthly KPI reporting pack for review
  • Key contributor to the production of the monthly financial reporting pack
  • Assist with financial analysis and reports to support management & financial accounting function
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgeting & forecasting packs

Ideal profile for this Finance Trainee role:

  • Good/previous/current knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
  • Solid grasp of fundamental mathematics
  • Ideally studying AAT or ACCA or CIMA or similar to progress with further study support
  • Good communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a small team
