Located at Trafford Park, Manchester, Print Search Ltd provide innovative and cost effective print solutions.

We are now part of the Hague Group who are a highly successful organisation with offices across the UK and Australia.

We now require an all-round and enthusiastic Print Finisher and your
Duties will include:

Operating binding machinery
using coil, comb, wire and Purfect binding machines to bind print materials.
Performing cutting operations e.g. using tools such as a paper guillotine to cut print materials to precise sizes and shapes.
Managing folding tasks e.g. using paper folders and creasing machines to fold print material accurately.
Collating print materials use collating machines to assemble pages or sheets of printed material in a specific order.
Manual hand finishing of products e.g. gluing.
To check final products for inconsistencies and flaws.
To prepare the final printed products for dispatch, ensuring items are correctly wrapped, packed and labelled.
Booking out parcels with the courier using a PC.
Contribute to general housekeeping within the print production area.

Type of person we are seeking:

An experienced Print Finisher.
Conscientious.
Have a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrates a 'getthejobdone' / 'nothing is a problem attitude'.
Manually dextrous.
Demonstrates problemsolving skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexible approach to work and can work to tight deadlines.

Please state on your CV the types of print finishing equipment you have experience of using.

Of particular interest will be any experience you have of:
Polar Guillotines, Heidelberg ST stitch lines, PUR binding equipment.

Work days and hours:

37.5 hours / week: Monday Friday
Normal hours will be 6am 2pm, although flexibility will be required on occasions i.e. slightly later starts / finishes
