Description

An exciting new opportunity exists for a motivated Physiotherapist with a special interest in persistent pain to work within the multi-disciplinary Southport & Formby Community Pain Service.

This is an award winning, innovative service, that works closely with expert patients, to deliver high quality person-centred care to a range of patients with often complex conditions.

You will be working with highly skilled pain clinicians, in a supportive, friendly team setting.

Using your specialist clinical skills and understanding of musculoskeletal and persistent pain conditions, you will assess new patients following referral.

You will co-construct the patients journey through the service, including one to one or group work, offering skilled diagnostics and access to investigations where appropriate.

You will provide expert clinical practice, education, training and support to a wide range of allied health professionals to effectively manage patients with persistent pain.

In partnership with the multidisciplinary pain management service, you will play a pivotal role in the pain service to establish new and innovative pathways of care, bringing influence to strategic direction in the field of persistent pain for the benefit of patients.

Shortlisting is planned for 13th March 2023

Interviews are planned for 17th April 2023
