We are working with a dynamic and inclusive
SEN School, committed to providing exceptional education and support to students with a range of diverse SEN needs.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Learning Support Assistant to join our passionate team in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

As a
Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs.

Working closely with our experienced teaching staff, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students with SEN, such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex and challenging behaviours, adapting teaching materials and strategies to meet individual needs.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a holistic approach to student development.
Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teaching staff and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working in a similar role such as within a SEN setting.
Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Understanding of different learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
DBS registered to the update service.
