Treasury Specialist - Cash - Liquidity

We have a new opening for a Treasury Specialist to work with one of our prestigious Banking clients.

Our client is one of the world's top asset management and banking firms and are winners of numerous awards, creating a fantastic working environment for their staff.

They are now looking for a Treasury Specialist to join their team in Manchester (Hybrid). This is initially a 9 month Fixed Term contract which could become permanent or extended further. The salary on offer is £53K + Holidays + pension. Ideally the bank is looking for someone with solid experience within Operations / Banking or Liquidity management.

Role Outline:

Manage shortterm liquidity by forecasting daily cash requirements and end of day positions, allowing funding decisions to be made.
Interact with other Operations teams and a network of external subcustodian and cash correspondent banks to facilitate effective and efficient settlement.
Build and maintain a robust control environment aligned to the Company's risk management framework
Embed a risk culture through a robust control framework focused on risk reduction and mitigation
Build and nourish meaningful relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
Promote robust control framework focused on risk reduction and mitigation
Evaluate processes and operating model on an ongoing basis

Experience Required:

Experience within Operations / Banking or Liquidity management
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the company
Ability to think laterally to resolve issues
Ability to work to tight deadlines, and to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Risk focused
Detail and results oriented
Able to work in time sensitive and pressured environment
Selfmotivated and proactive
