Job description
Green Retreats are a fast growing Luxury Garden Studio manufacturer operating within a 30,000 sq ft. facility on Westcott Venture Park, just off the A41 in between Aylesbury and Bicester.


In line with our latest phase of expansion, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative who will report directly to the Logistics Manager.


The Job Role

  • Unloading, Inspection, verification and sign off of all goods delivered from suppliers
  • Movement and allocation of stock in and out of the factory
  • Efficient disposal of waste from production areas to recycling points
  • Minimising and recycling waste in production areas
  • Organising roofs and floors for base teams, checking UPVC Windows to purchase order
  • Deliver materials to site
  • Ensuring efficient and safe operation of the factory facility, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Checking Stock Levels ready for monthly stock check

Requirements:


  • Full driving licence and own vehicle
  • Counter balance forklift license is essential and side loader is essential.
  • Physical fitness ability to work in a factory environment with both inside and outside working conditions
  • Enthusiastic team player

Desired Skills:


  • Qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of health and safety in a factory environment
  • Side loader licence

Reward:


  • Pay £12.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid at time and a quarter
  • Monthly performance bonus starting at £100 per month
  • 8 hours per day 6am 2pm or 8am 4pm (40 hrs per week with a half an hour paid lunch break)
