The job itself:

Carer required from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays to support a gentleman living in North Cave.

Gentleman is a full-time wheelchair user and uses a ceiling hoist for moving and handling. Training will be provided for new employee.

Support is required with personal care, washing, dressing, and showering. Also with meals and assisting to eat. The gentleman needs assistance to read the newspaper and generally to set things up for the day ahead. Carer would be required to complete small household duties such as ironing.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - cost to be met by the local authority.
