Junior Credit Controller

Our client, A well established and successful local business in the Newry area is currently seeking to a recruit an ambitious and self-motivated individual to join their Credit Control team on a full time, permanent basis.

An excellent development opportunity to become an experienced Credit Controller through on the job training.


What we are looking for;

  • High level administrative skills dealing with a high volume of customers and/or workload
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a Credit Control environment
  • Have the ability to work in a fastmoving environment
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team

Roles & Responsibilities;

  • Ensure debts are paid in a timely and effective manner
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
  • Negotiating payment agreements with customers
  • Handling disputed amounts
  • Opening new accounts and checking credit ratings
  • Set and monitor credit limits
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to both customer and internal enquiries
  • Maintenance of customer files
  • Providing accounts information to senior management
  • Following the divisions debt collection policy

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
