Description

We are recruiting for an Operations Supervisor based at Lutterworth 2 for the night shift.

In this role you will assist in the smooth running of our operational process on a daily basis at the facility and be responsible for effectively managing and supervising a team of operators ensuring the daily workload is achieved.

About the Role

How you will contribute

Ensure all quality control procedures are adhered to relating to processing and checking
Completion of daily handover and provide appropriate information for the oncoming shift
Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained
Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, monitored and maintained
Provide help and assistance to other departments as and when required
Promote a sound employee relations climate for all employees
Communicate appropriately with internal customers at all times

Your key qualifications

Good numeracy and literacy skills Minimum
Experience supervising a team of in a supply chain/warehouse/logistics facility
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Team player
Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred
Quality systems knowledge to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: timekeeping, quality, productivity, etc.)

Additional Information
Working hours will be Monday to Thursday 20:00-06:30 with the exception being for training, sickness and holiday cover.
