Job summary:


Do you love spreadsheets? Are you organised? Can you communicate in a professional and friendly way? Then we need you to join our team We're a small team working in Therapy Education, gathering data, getting things organised, and building quality placements for our students.

You will be based at Heartlands Hospital mainly and will sometimes need to travel to the other hospital sites, whilst working from home on occasion.

Main duties, tasks & skills required:

You'll need to be able to use up to date Microsoft 365 technology to produce reports, create charts, and make professional resources for our students and their educators.

You will need to be able to work independently as the team is based flexibly across the sites. Regular contact is maintained through Microsoft Teams and we organise face-to-face interactions frequently.


As we work with all communities within Birmingham and Solihull, you'll need to be approachable, reliable, and able to build rapport with team members and visitors from a range of cultures and backgrounds.


The workload will be varied, from booking rooms or taking minutes, to creating a new Sway document, collating lots of data in a spreadsheet, or supporting audit processes.

We will need you to support our student inductions on the hospital sites in person too. It's essential you can multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude.

Qualifications:


Essential:


  • NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent
  • RSA III typing or equivalent

Desirable:


  • RSA II shorthand or equivalent

Experience:

  • Knowledge of Therapies
