Description

Duties:

  • Assist the driver in loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
  • Secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with the driver and follow instructions
  • Assist with navigation and route planning
  • Help with paperwork and documentation as required
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience working as a driver's mate or in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
  • Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
As a Driver's Mate, you will work closely with the driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Your role will involve assisting with loading and unloading, navigating routes, and providing excellent customer service.
