A well-known global music business is looking for a Accounts Assistant to report straight to the Financial Controller and support the rest of the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12-18 months experience within a similar industry to get more exposure to month-end and work towards becoming a qualified accountant.

Personality is key with this role as you will have direct contact with the labels.

You will need to be someone who is personable and can interact with different types of people across the business.

key Responsibilities

To drive efficiencies and standardisation of central finance tasks.
To manage and be point of contact for all central recharges across record labels.
To assist with month end duties for record labels.
Upload of ledger balances into the central finance system.
Forecasting working with the label finance teams to accurately forecast artist spending.
Responding to ad hoc requests for analysis and reporting from labels.
Become a key initial point of contact dealing with internal and external label finance queries.
Responsible for processing employee expense claims across record labels.
Accurate and prompt invoicing of recharges to intercompany and third parties.
Continually improve current processes across central finance and labels
