In the role of stock purchase ledger controller you will be charged with ensuring the purchase ledger reflects accurate and up-to-date records of the liabilities the company holds with its stock suppliers, and ensure these suppliers are paid to term.

Description
- High volume invoice processing
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner
- Ensure any supplier account queries are dealt with to a consistently high standard
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and branches
- Ensure that the purchase ledger payment runs are inline with supplier terms and enable full
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts
- Work with the relevant teams to improve and develop the EDI offering
Profile
- Bookkeeping experience
- Great interpersonal and communications skills
- High level of accuracy
- Good team working skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
- An aptitude for IT knowledge of software packages like Excel, Navison and BACS
