In the role of stock purchase ledger controller you will be charged with ensuring the purchase ledger reflects accurate and up-to-date records of the liabilities the company holds with its stock suppliers, and ensure these suppliers are paid to term.

Description

  • High volume invoice processing
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure any supplier account queries are dealt with to a consistently high standard
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and branches
  • Ensure that the purchase ledger payment runs are inline with supplier terms and enable full
- take-up of settlement discounts

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts
  • Work with the relevant teams to improve and develop the EDI offering

Profile

  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
  • An aptitude for IT knowledge of software packages like Excel, Navison and BACS
