This is an exciting time to join our growing team at Great Minds Together.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide crucial support for families in crisis, children with SEND and/or SEMH needs and 24-hour therapeutic intervention support in a residential setting.

Job title:
Family Wraparound Coordinator

Location:
Bradford, West Yorkshire

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary:
£22,000 - £23,000 per annum

The role
We are looking for an induvial who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families. As a Family Wraparound Coordinator, you will strive to achieve positive outcomes for families with concerns or worries.

You will work alongside other professionals and services, in a true multi-agency way, adopting our shared vision to achieve a better quality of life for them.

Duties of the role

Provide support to families of children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
Implement interventions to children and young people face to face or virtually.
Attend meetings to support family members and liaise with other agencies including schools, social care, health, and local authorities.
Keep accurate records by using a variety of computer systems to keep your caseload organised.
Provide whole family support with issues such as housing, benefits, foodbanks and mental health and wellbeing.
Ensure you understand and comply with Great Minds Together procedures for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.

Requirements:

Experience of supporting within the SEND and SEMH sector.
Experience in either mentoring, advisory work, coaching, problem solving and supporting.
Experience of working with children and young people and potentially their families in either a formal or informal capacity.
Good knowledge of using technology including Microsoft Office.
Awareness of the education system including EHCP's.
