This is an exciting time to join our growing team at Great Minds Together.As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide crucial support for families in crisis, children with SEND and/or SEMH needs and 24-hour therapeutic intervention support in a residential setting.

Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary:
£22,000 - £23,000 per annum
The role
We are looking for an induvial who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families. As a Family Wraparound Coordinator, you will strive to achieve positive outcomes for families with concerns or worries.
You will work alongside other professionals and services, in a true multi-agency way, adopting our shared vision to achieve a better quality of life for them.
Duties of the role
- Provide support to families of children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Implement interventions to children and young people face to face or virtually.
- Attend meetings to support family members and liaise with other agencies including schools, social care, health, and local authorities.
- Keep accurate records by using a variety of computer systems to keep your caseload organised.
- Provide whole family support with issues such as housing, benefits, foodbanks and mental health and wellbeing.
- Ensure you understand and comply with Great Minds Together procedures for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting within the SEND and SEMH sector.
- Experience in either mentoring, advisory work, coaching, problem solving and supporting.
- Experience of working with children and young people and potentially their families in either a formal or informal capacity.
- Good knowledge of using technology including Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of the education system including EHCP's.
