A LITTLE ABOUT US.

Dear Sailor is a bar, event space inspired by the jazz cafés which sprung up in Tokyo in the 1930's where locals would listen to music whilst enjoying cocktails in secret.

Bold, atmospheric and nocturnal speakeasies where you could let your hair down and experiment with new, fun things.

It was in the midst of the Japanese prohibition, where the public would turn to 'outsiders' to bring forbidden goods from across the globe to enjoy, especially music, foreign delicacies and alcohol.

A LITTLE ABOUT YOU.

We're looking for Iconic, well presented bartenders at all levels including management, head bar, full time senior bartenders and part timers including bar backs with a commitment to delivering excellence in a confident, easy going manner.

We'll be running a double dispense bar to deliver timely drinks to amazing guests.

You should have experience with batched cocktails and experience of advanced techniques and prep items such as shrubs, syrups, oxymels and oleos is highly advantageous.

We'll be drawing influence from around the world with a leaning to maritime & naval connections. As a result we'll be rum heavy with a South East Asian vibe.

THE ROLE
Dear Sailor will open nightly 7 days per week plus daytimes at the weekend serving an outstanding beverage programme.

Full Time roles will work ~40 hours over 4 days whilst Part Timers will work 20~25 hours over 2~3 days.

All tables will be service charged at 12.5% and 100% of Service Charge will be delivered to the venue team.
