Description

The post holder is expected to work with the minimum of supervision to co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure that an efficient service is provided and will be expected to work with a flexible approach, maintaining confidentiality at all times when dealing with service user/staff information.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, strong organisational and time management skills and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

It is essential that the post holder will maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

The post holder will provide comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative and secretarial service to the Preceptorship Team.


To develop good working relationships with all levels of staff (Trust wide and externally) in order to promote the work and services of the Preceptorship Team.

Effective liaison with multi-disciplinary staff/outside agencies ensuring accurate information is communicated as and when required.

Responsibility for arranging and booking appointments and associated data entry for international recruits.
