As a dynamic and rapidly changing organisation, we are growing fast and implementing some large programmes that will accelerate the delivery of our strategy, The RS Way, and taking us beyond current aspirations, propelling us into an amazing future.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us a Group Operational Auditor.

You will ensure that the Group has an efficient and effective control environment focused on supporting the achievement of the Group's objectives.

This is achieved by preparing and conducting Operational Audits, reviews and leading projects covering all Group activities internationally.

What you will enjoy doing

  • This is a global role which, together with the rest of the operational audit team has responsibility for reviewing all aspects of the business.
  • The role demands judgements to be made around risk and the resulting focus of audit fieldwork. If during audit fieldwork unforeseen issues are detected, then the role demands the ability to assess the impact of such findings and then replan and reschedule activities quickly and efficiently.
  • Judgments around issues and their interpretation will ultimately be reported to the Group's Audit Committee hence it is critical that the individual is able to justify findings and associated implications and recommendations in a clear and logical manner for a very senior audience.
  • Reflecting the team's throughput, the role will support more junior members of the team.
