We are a well-established Estate Agent with offices in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, who due to continued growth are looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Negotiator.
Main responsibilities
- Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
- Arrange and attend viewings.
- Referencing applicants
- Preparation of tenancy documents
- Supervision of an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants.
- Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to close deals.
- Communicate with landlords with regards to marketing feedback, viewings and hot prospects, put forward offers from applicants and agree terms with landlords.
- Provide practical solutions to landlords with regards to achieving a prompt let.
- Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewing and lets.
- Always maximise board presence and promote brand awareness.
- Ensure all tenancies commence in line with legislation.
- Take deposits and record receipt of all monies. Progress transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Efficient diary planning.
- Correctly record all messages, viewings and appointments.
- Activity reports as required.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a firstclass level of customer service at all times.
Main Objectives:
- To achieve preagreed targets, operating to the standards required by the company.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, courtesy and efficiency in dealing with the public.
- Maximise opportunities for viewings, lets, market appraisals and instructions.
- Seek to increase office market share and generally promote 'brand awareness'.
- To operate with the confines of the Housing Act and lettings legislation.
- To operate to the standards set by our regulatory bodies.
Essential Skills Required:
- Experience working in a letting agency with a Minimum 1 year experience or appropriate transferrable skills
- Driving license
- Good I.T. skills
- Confident and well spoken
- Great Organisation and Time Management skills
- Well presented
- Ability to meet new people and make own contacts within the industry
Benefits and Details
- Full Time Position
- Office Hours: Mon
- Fri 8.30am 5.30pm; Every other Saturday 9am 3pm
- Career progression opportunities
- OTE up to £27,000
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
