We need a Resourcing Business Partner to lead on the development and delivery of resourcing within our group.


You'll work closely with our dynamic Operational, HR and Learning & Development colleagues to ensure we offer a seamless and joined up recruitment service to the business, including overseas recruitment.

Salary:

C. £45,000 depending on experience.


Location:

Hybrid (2 days a week at the Central Office in Laindon, Essex and site visits as and when required)


The role:


Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement recruitment strategies, whilst also contributing to the wider operational objectives of the business.
  • Manage the recruitment process, so there are sufficient team members with the right skills to satisfy the immediate and future needs of our business.
  • To liaise with the HR Team and provide assistance to the operational team as and when required.
  • Taking a lead in the creation and implementation of retention initiatives to create an environment that values and recognises it's employees.
  • Ensure that there is a suite of interview questions for all roles and work with the HR Team on reviewing and drafting of job descriptions.
  • Line management responsibility of the On-Boarding Administrator.

Duties

  • As part of the Senior Management Team, collaborate to identify business development opportunities and areas of continuous improvement.
  • Manage and implement recruitment plans. Identify advertising opportunities. Write copy for adverts and produce other promotional materials for the local press, events, specialist publications, local radio etc. Regularly post adverts for care teams and other staff as required by the business.
  • To liaise with the Marketing Manager to see where joint efforts could be made to improve our homes' presence in the local community as a top employer as well as driving social media campaigns.
  • Ensuring the that the correct processes are followed during the recruitment process, to ensure safe recruitment for all staff. To keep abreast of any changes to legislation and best practice.
  • Be active and visual in the local community. Organise career/ recruitment events
  • Build effective working relationships with local recruitment providers and stakeholders e.g. online recruitment channels and business support services
  • Monitor and evaluate recruitment campaigns and staff turnover. Provide management information and reports as required. Make sure recruitment drives are cost effective and asset in developing action plans to improve retention.
  • Support the senior management team with a range of retention initiatives designed to support staff satisfaction and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and up to data records relating to recruitment matters, providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports tom the Head of HR as required.
  • Promote antidiscriminatory practice in recruitment, selection and the implementation of all HR policies and procedures
  • Be prepared to work flexibly as part of the Athena Care Homes team; may include evening and weekend work on occasion, to meet business needs.
  • Development and maintenance of the recruitment database (currently Teamtailor) to enable accurate monitoring of statistical reporting on recruitment issues.
  • To work with educational establishments to enable recruitment of carers/nurses directly from colleges and universities to create a continuous pipeline.
