Job Purpose Statement
Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are.


Provide business analysis to a Distribution initiative to implement a legal agreement framework between the 3rd party management company and distributor for selling products into one of European countries.

key areas we expect requiring analysis and designexpertise are:


  • Client Servicing and Sales processes and relevant controls,
  • Financial, controllership, and transfer pricing,
  • Operations and control frameworks


This engagement and project will front run a larger initiative looking at the ultimate strategic intent for legal entities to do product distribution.


Role Responsibilities
How you'll spend your time....

  • Use data and business information from a variety of sources to analyse current business issues and processes including, tax, legal, compliance, governance and sales processes.
  • Identify issues regarding the proposed new operating and reporting models, generate appropriate gap analysis' and/or recommend actions.
  • Manage multiple relationships across the organization, and at times with external parties and clients.
  • Be a point of contact to answer questions within business areas involved in the project. Act as a liaison among the business and project functions to gather information and share knowledge.
  • Ensure initiatives are executed appropriately.
  • Attend and document working group and workstream meetings as required.
  • Support the PM in the maintenance of the Project schedule and other project artifacts as required in conjunction with the PM.
  • Present results of analysis and/or recommendations to the business, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate action plans and priorities to appropriate partners.

Key Capabilities
To be successful in this role you will have....

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problemsolving skills. Experience in the analysis and documentation of business processes and reporting requirements and working with colleagues on recommendations and analysis.
  • Indepth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others.
  • Ability to plan, run and document outcomes of meetings and workshops.
  • Knowledge of the asset management industry, particular the distribution processes and third party distributor relationships.
  • Highly organized and able to accurately document requirements and progress.
  • Sound knowledge of UK fund structures with offshore structures a plus
  • High attention to detail.
  • High organisation, planning and coordination skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and multitask

Preferred Capabilities

  • Knowledge of the asset (fund) management industry, particular the distribution administration processes and third party distributor relationships.
  • Understanding of tax reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of compliance, regulation and governance requirements within the asset management industry.
  • Visio, Microsoft Project

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 57 years' of experience in related industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
