Description

A busy & expanding engineering company close to Cannock town centre are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their friendly team.

Core responsibilities if the role are:

Create production schedules in line with incoming orders
Estimate levels of material, equipment & labour required to complete each order
Address & resolve production issues
Contribute ideas to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Compile regular progress reports for management.

You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and especially Excel

Hours of work are with an early finish on Fridays

Initial salary is £32,500 p/a.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year

Cannock: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Production Planning: 3 years (required)
