Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a local authority in the

East London region, to recruit an experienced

Housing Officer.

Contract: 3-6 months (Possible Extension)

Rate:
From £19 upwards p/h (Umbrella)

Start Date:
ASAP

Shift Pattern:
Full Time

DUTIES

Proactively manage a cross tenure patch of properties.
To become the key local contact for tenants, providing appropriate support.
Carry out a range of visits to ensure tenancies are sustained and properties are kept in good condition.
To proactively manage and investigate reports of nuisance and ASB to prevent escalation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience within a public sector organisation.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Knowledge and experience of dealing with housing and social care issues.
Experience in dealing with difficult situation, providing support to vulnerable customers.
Experience working for a housing association.
