You will be part of an innovative team committed to supporting the health and medical needs of our students to help to raise their personal & academic achievements.


The successful applicant will liaise with and coordinate the work of a team of Therapists in the school and advise teachers and support staff.

You will have regular and frequent contact with students, parents, members of staff and outside agencies and have contacts with a wide range of telephone and personal callers to pass and receive information.

You will be responsible for overseeing all students medical and health care plans to ensure they are appropriate and up-to-date, and will support with onward referrals to external agencies as and when required (Inc NHS)

Be aware of, and implement, routine procedures as outlined in the medical and first aid policy. To assist with;

  • Ensuring a smooth running and efficient medical care service to all stakeholders.
  • To assist with organising and coordinating immunisations with the regional School Nursing Team.
  • To liaise closely with colleagues, parents and teachers to ensure seamless and continuous care for pupils.
You will be confident in building professional working relationships with all stakeholders within the school across multiple campuses. Travel to other campuses will be required, so use of transport for work purposes is a requirement.
