BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer based in Stockton.

We are looking for someone to work part time, across 3 days a week (must be a Thursday but flexible on other days.

The duties include but are not limited too;

Taking the lead role in the assessment of incoming referrals
Working with individuals in a focused way which enables them to maximize their independence and live to full potential
To work alongside vulnerable individuals in promoting independence and empowering sustainment of their tenancy.
To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required in order for their tenancy to be maintained including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy or others this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
To provide information, advice and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

This is a part time role, 22.5 hours per week, perm position

Pay rate; £20ph PAYE
