An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Transport Controller to join the Transport team, based at our Linwood depot. This is a full time, Monday to Friday permanent position.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

Planning and confirming daily routes
Liaising with drivers to ensure high level of customer service and efficiency are reached and maintained
Liaising with external contractors to secure additional operatives if required
Assisting and understanding of other Traffic Coordinators' roles and providing cover when required
Logging and maintaining customer database on company CRM system.
Strong IT literacy skills and a good understanding of all Microsoft Office systems
Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
Good geographic knowledge of the east and central Scotland
Excellent time management skills
A polite and conscientious telephone manner
Excellent administration and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills
Eye for detail
Team player.

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience working within a Transport department is required
Experience working within the waste management industry is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £27,000 per year
40 hours per week
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
26 days and 4 statutory days holiday
Holidays increase with length of service
