Butler Rose is proud to be partnered with a well-established company located in Lancaster who are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator into their team.

This role will lie at the heart of the accounts team therefore the company requires a proactive andself-sufficient individual who can use their initiative.

This company is in a period of long term growth and are always happy to listen to suggestions on new ways of working that could benefit the business.

Your new role as Accounts Administrator:
Reporting directly to the Finance manager, your duties will include:
Maintenance of the sales ledger including credit control.
Maintenance of the purchase ledger.
Maintenance of the cash book.
Formation & distribution of weekly & monthly reports.
Provide support to the cost and management accountant.
Assist with month end activities.
VAT returns.
Provide support to the Purchase Ledger Assistant.

Excellent communication.
Strong financial and analysis skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel across borders and functions.
Must be able to manage several tasks/activities.

Salary up to £29,000 per annum.
