Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced and curious Head of Marketing, with strategic vision, to lead our Home Shopping marketing team to develop and execute effective on and offline marketing strategies.

WCF Home Shopping is multi-brand / multi-channel mail order, established for over 30 years, selling quality mature ladies and men's clothing over 4 brands.

30% of our revenues come online, with the remainder via telephone and post. Approximately 25% of our revenues come from off the page advertising.


Responsibilities:


Develop and implement on and off-line marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, response rates, average order values, customer acquisition and intimacy and revenue growth for our home shopping business, whilst maintaining our individual brand personalities.


Deliver customer retention targets of 50% and revenues from new customers of 30%.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer trends and insights to inform marketing strategies and suggestions for our product range to discuss with the Designer and Buyer.


Establish KPI indicators for response rates, breakeven costs, allowable customer costs and return on advertising spend for all marketing activity both on or offline.

Obtain the optimum pagination and mailing cost per catalogue pack for each campaign.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and operations, to ensure marketing strategies align with strategic objectives.

Develop and manage marketing budgets and report on marketing campaign performance to the executive team.

Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals to ensure they are meeting performance objectives and delivering high-quality work.


Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and adjust marketing strategies as needed to stay ahead of industry trends.

Work closely with external suppliers and partners to execute marketing initiatives and ensure high-quality deliverables.


Manage the digital transformation of our business over the next five years to achieve not less than 50% of our revenues on-line and improve the efficiency of our processes.

Use the single customer view to undertake AB testing and introduce personalised omni-channel marketing


About You:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.


Demonstrative experience in marketing at a senior level, with a focus on traditional mail order marketing, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team.

Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on campaign performance to senior executives.

Experience in mail order catalogue production and fulfilment, including creative direction.

Knowledge of the home shopping industry and consumer behaviour in this space is a plus.
