The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health.

The post holder will join the Executive Office to provide outstanding administrative support to the Pro-Director (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) and Director (Human Resources) and members of their senior teams.

They will have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and able to command the trust and confidence of a range of stakeholders including external and senior stakeholders.

The ability to think ahead and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills is essential, as is the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and a challenging workload.

The post holder will have an interest in the Higher Education sector with a commitment to making a positive impact.


The post holder will have proven and extensive experience of supporting a senior executive, including experience of organising and streamlining the workload and timetable of a busy senior professional.

Experience of diary management and effective prioritisation techniques is also essential.

The post is full time (35 hours per week), and a permanent contract.
