Dentalcare Group have an exciting opportunity for a Head Dental Receptionist to join our professional and friendly team in Swindon.

The first Dentalcare surgery opened in 1964 and have since built a reputation in serving people well.

Our current management team came into place in 2006 and have since brought several select surgeries across Southern England into the group gradually.

The Swindon Team


Our Dentalcare team is situated in the Northern part of Swindon, within minutes' walk from the nearest bus stop, which is on the main bus route into Swindon.


The Practice is situated on a main road in Swindon, close to a group of small shops and a school - and offers parking in front of the building.


The practice is located over 2 storeys, and houses 5 surgeries, with 3 surgeries located downstairs and 2 surgeries upstairs.

The practice includes a range of different services - NHS, Private and Specialist, including Endodontic and Hygienist treatment options.


The Role & Responsibilities

  • You will provide the highest levels of patient support and professionalism at all times
  • You will be managing a busy Reception with a high number of telephone calls, patients and staff to support
  • It is therefore important that you have outstanding telephone manner and excellent customer service / communication skills and that you want to put patients' interest first
  • You will be tasked to assist with various administration, filing and other tasks as required by the team
  • We are looking for a committed and hardworking individual to join our happy team and assist in our growth. It is also important that you are friendly, enthusiastic, and able to work well under pressure

The Working Hours

  • This is a permanent, parttime role, consisting of a 24 hours per week over 3 days Monday to Wednesday 08:1 17:1
  • The start date for this role would ideally be as soon as possible

About You

  • It is important that you are a personable, positive, and enthusiastic professional and that you want to put patients' interest first.
  • You will have an ability to work in a team, whilst highly capable to mentor and manage others.
  • You will have completed a Secondary / GCSE or similar qualification
  • It is essential that you are a highly responsible, reliable, diligent, and hardworking individual
  • Dental Reception and SOE/Exact Dental Software experience would be preferred (although not essential as training can be provided)
