This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours and paying between £19,000 and £20,000
Must have experience and skills in a previous similar role.
An Occupational Health (OH) check is to advise employers on the employee's health and make recommendations for any adjustments that may be required to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for the employee.
The Occupational Health Team cover a very sensitive and emotive workload so you will need to be resilient and able to work at a fast pace to ensure our colleagues get the relevant support in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out preemployment medical checks.
- Assess and treat employees who are injured or become ill at work.
- Provide counselling and support.
- Give advice on health education, health and safety and sickness absence.
- Carry out risk assessments and keep employee health records.
