Legal Assistant - Disease - Defendant - Leeds

My client, a Top 60 UK Law Firm, are looking to expand their EL/PL (Disease) Personal Injury team in Leeds by recruiting 2 Legal Assistants.


The Role:


  • The purpose of the role will involve managing your own caseload of industrial disease defended EL/PL claims.
  • Work closely with Insurers, their insureds and corporate clients providing not only technical advice but also added value services for the client.
- _Proven experience in an insurance or legal based environment handling disease claims, both pre and post litigation._

  • Build strong and effective relationships at all levels and work in a fastpaced, regulated environment.
  • Client focussed attitude.
  • Innovative and commercially aware.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
- _At least 12 months experience in insurance defendant experience is desired._
