Within our Digital Procurement function we have created an exciting opportunity for a Process and Compliance Specialist.

We are looking for a confident communicator, who is focused on delivering results whilst being able to manage and build strong working relationships.


The evolution of our procurement operations has formed a role that is highly influential, working closely with the Global Digital Procurement Team and other Global Procurement and Business excellence Functions, ensuring delivery of the operational performance of the Digital Procurement department.


This position will play a vital role with contributing to the future strategy of Jaguar Land Rover and will create various opportunities to collaborate with different teams within the digital procurement function
.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Highly agile with ability to manage and deliver multiple work streams within tight deadlines.
  • High level of capability within Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of describing complex tasks in simple, clear and actionable language.

Desirable:

  • Formal process improvement qualification / training (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Knowledge / experience of working using an Agile methodology.
  • Experience in a procurement / process transformation environment.
  • Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Prior experience working in compliance, assurance, or audit function.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


As a Process and Compliance Specialist you will be expected to work closely with other operations and Procurement teams to ensure and drive standardisation/ optimisation of procurement systems and processes to drive our agility and compliance.

In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring key business process changes and expected to communicate and embed them into our Digital Procurement function where applicable.


Other Responsibilities will include:

  • Produce accurate data and concise management reporting for key scorecard metrics.
  • Supporting or leading the development of Digital Transformational projects.
  • Ensuring Procurement processes are adhered to and lead the development / continuous improvement of business process as required to support project delivery.
  • Represent Digital Procurement in the business process transformation meetings and ensure inputs are provided and outputs are actioned in accordance with project requirements.
  • Creating business cases for the process improvement initiatives to seek finance and business approvals.
  • Working closely with the junior process / compliance specialist within Digital Procurement, coordinating workload and providing guidelines.
